Remote not communicating

N-2000/Inteliclean Plus

Has the remote ever been paired with the unit? (When the remote pairs for the first time ever or after a repair, the unit plays a little song as a confirmation of successful pairing)
The remote was already paired and the unit was working before
Not sure or never paired
I just paired it, I could clearly hear the bidet playing the song that confirm the pairing but the unit never worked
